East End Gram Flour 1 kg milled from pure Chana Dal. East End pure Gram Flour is made from 100 % pure Chana Dal (Yellow Gram). It is perfect for preparing Pakoras (Onion Bhaji), traditional potato and vegetable pakoras, and some sweet dishes.
500 g East End Gram Flour
1 tbsp Garam masala
1 tsp of fresh crushed ginger or puree
1 tsp chili powder
2 sliced onions, 1 diced potato
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
¼ pint of warm water
Mix all the dry ingredients together and slowly add the water to blend into a thick batter. Add the onions, potato, and coriander and mix together and leave the mixture for about 10 minutes. Take a heaped spoon of the mix and carefully drop in hot oil in a deep fryer. Fry for about 3 minutes or until golden brown or cooked.

Storage Instructions: Store in a cool dry place and never mix old and new flour. Do not allow the flour to become damp.
