Laziza Kofta Masala 130 g (Spice Mix)
INGERDIENTS: Red Chilli, Coriander, Salt, Roasted Gram, Turmeric, Roasted Cumin Powder, Black Pepper, Dried Garlic 3 %, Dried Ginger 3 %, Cardamom, Clove, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves.
Recipe: Kofta (Meat Balls in Curry)
- Mincemeat (Mutton, Chicken or Beef)…………..1 kg finely grounded in paste
- Yohurt (whipped)………………………………………..1 ½ cup (250 g)
- Onion (medium sized)…………………………………3–4 (250 g) grounded
- Green Coriander (finely chopped)…………………½ bunch / ½ cup
- Cooking Oil / Ghee………………………………………1 cup (150 g)
- LAZIZA KOFTA MASALA……………………………one bag only
- Green Chillies (medium)……………………………….4–5 (chopped) used as per your taste
EASY STEPS
- Mix well 3 tablespoon of Laziza Kofta Masala (from one bag) in mincemeat. Add half quantity of grounded onion, 3–4 tablespoons of green coriander, green chillies (optional), 4 tablespoons of yoghurt and mix/knead well to make smooth dough. Now make 25–35 meat balls.
- Soak remaining quantity of Laziza Kofta Masala (of one bag) in ½ cup of water. Heat ghee / oil and fry remaining grounded onion until golden. Put soaked Kofta Masala, remaining yogurt and stir fry for 5–8 minutes. Add 1–2 glasses of water and cook on medium fire for about 10 minutes.
- Now put meat balls, cover and cook on low flame until meat balls are tender and proper thick curry is formed, garnish with chopped, green coriander.
Note: If the meat balls break during the making, then add and mix well one beaten whisked egg.
