SINDHI BIRYANI RECIPE
(Sindhi style Spicy Rice with Meat)
- Meat (Mutton, Chicken or Beef)………………………..500g – 750 g
- Basmati Rice (soaked for 30 minutes)……………….500g – 750 g
(for more/hot masala use 500 g rice) - Yoghurt (whipped)………………………………………….100 g (½ cup)
- Onion (medium, sized finely sliced)…………………..3 (200g)
- Tomatoes (cut in fine round slices …………………….3 (200g)
- Potatoes (medium)………………………………………….3 peeled and cut in two or four (250 g)
- Small Green Chillies whole……………………………….20 – 25 (25 g)
- Green coriander (chopped)……………………………….one cup / 1 bunch
- Fresh Mint(chopped)………………………………………..one cup / 1 bunch
- Ghee/Cooking Oli…………………………………………….1 – 1 ½ cup (200 g)

EASY STEPS
- Fry sliced onins till become golden. Add meat, potatoes and stir fry 8–10 minutes. Now put Laziza Sindhi Biryani Masala (one bag), green chillies, yoghurt and fry for 5–7 munutes.
- Add 1–2 glasses of water, cover the lid and cook on low flame till the meat is tender. When the meat is cooked/tender there should be at least two cups of gravy, if not then add water.
- Now transfer the meat masala to a larger utensil and spread sliced tomatoes, green coriander and mint leaves. Cover and cook on low flame for 8–10 minutes (do not mix or stir).
- Separately boil rice in 12 glasses of hot water with 3–4 tablespoon of salt till half tender. Drain water thoroughly. Spread the rice on meat masala (do not mix the rice and the meat). Cover and cook on low flame until rice is tender. Garnish with fried onions and mix well before serving.Product of Pakistan
