Heera Roasted Upma Sooji 1 kg
How to cook: Heat 3 tbsp of oil and fry 1tbsp mustard seeds until they start to splutter. Add 3 tbsp urad dal, 1 chopped red chili, and a few curry leaves. When dal turns golden brown, add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green chili, and 1 inch chopped ginger. Saute until onions turn transparent then add 2 cups water, 3 tbsp ghee, and salt as needed. When the water starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and gradually add 200 g ROASTED UPMA SOOJI whilst constantly stirring. Once the Sooji absorbs all the water, cover and cook on a low flame for 7 mins whilst stirring occasionally. Serve hot with chutney, sambar, or any pickle.
